Working with original photographs created using everyday objects, I created a symbolic book cover. This project aimed to intertwine the themes of a plot, the power of typography, and the symbolism of photography into one fluid composition. This book cover focuses on the symbolism between the crumpled paper and the idea of secrets. The main character lives a fantasy inside of his head, without anyone around his being aware of it. Walter Mitty's world is for his eyes only, hence the secretive nature of the crumpled paper and the mystery of what is inside.
